The Brief
My task on this ongoing project was to work closely with our in-house Creative Content Producer to arrange the imagery and video that he captured and deliver it for Instagram. The overall goal is to utilise our athletes and ambassadors to help the Marketing team promote an authentic and consistent style to our D2C audience via Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
Aesthetics
When it came to designing a layout for these images I wanted to do it in a way that enhanced the images. I looked at various ideas but settled on treating this like a magazine or book where halfway through you are treated to some imagery and captions. Subtle details such as the location name and it's compass markings, page swipe numbers to help illustrate the journey. For some images I even flipped the upside down to create a unique visual frame.
Overall, this would be a template I could use for future stories that had a unique layout and would help the series stand out from the typical Osprey visuals but gain familiarity over time.

The Result So Far...
Our stats after each release has consistently performed better than most of our traditional posts and the visuals have helped seen a positive organic growth with more genuine interaction with our followers.
The series is set to continue throughout the upcoming 2022.
